Questions & Answers

Can I incorporate a Mexican company if I’m a foreigner?

Absolutely. MBP specializes in forming Mexican companies with foreign shareholders and legal representatives. You don’t need to be physically in Mexico — we handle everything remotely.

Our service includes:

  • Drafting of incorporation documents and notarial registration

  • SAT registration and RFC (tax ID) issuance

  • Appointment of a legal representative with e.Firma

  • Setup for CFDI invoicing and local bank account assistance.

  • Bank Account

On average, 2 to 3 weeks from the moment all documents are submitted. Timelines may vary slightly depending on government response times.

Foreigners can own 100% of a Mexican company. You do not need a local partner.

Yes, all Mexican companies are required to appoint a legal representative — but you don’t need to find one yourself. At MBP, we provide a trusted legal representative as part of the incorporation service. This person will be authorized to act on behalf of your company before the SAT (Mexican tax authority) and will have an e.Firma (digital signature).
If you prefer to appoint your own representative later, we can help you make that transition safely and legally.
